Aladdin's Michael James Scott
Updated: Sep 24, 2019
Imagine your manager offering you the chance to fly to a city you love for six weeks, to the job you love with a different team, and then fly home again. Would you do it?
Of course you would.
Michael James Scott is doing it.
That city is London. That job is the Genie in Aladdin.
The West End production has borrowed MJ from the national tour in the US which is currently playing in Philadelphia. They've swapped to give Trevor the chance to play his hometown on the tour.
Michael has incredible stories of being taught by some old school Broadway legends like Ben Vereen, Julie Andrews and Gwen Verdon as well as working on shows such as Tarzan, Hair and The Book of Mormon.
He's very excited to go for afternoon tea in London - a tradition he discovered when he was over here with the Broadway cast of Hair in 2010.
You can see Michael in the London production of Aladdin at the Prince Edward theatre until 30th September.
